Spring break is right around the corner and if you're anything like me, my pale winter skin is just NOT going to cut it for the beach! All the same, I do not want to put myself at risk for sun damage or even worse skin cancer by going to the tanning bed. I would frequently go to tanning beds in high school, and even still went occasionally until this past winter. I decided that it is just not worth the risk! To solve this predicament, I have decided to give sunless self-tanner a try.
Previously, the first word that would pop up in my mind when I heard 'self-tanner' would be ORANGE. Like those little oompa loompas from Willy Wonka. Bright orange is not my color, especially for my skin!! Which is the reason I have been scared to use a sunless tanner up until now.
I have decided to try a sunless tanner based on what I have learned:
the the oompa-loompa horror stories only happen because of two main things:
1. Using the wrong brand of sunless tanner
2. Not using the right technique to apply sunless tanner
To show off an even, natural-looking tan (without exposing your skin to harmful UV rays)
Exfoliate to remove dead skin cells from the top layer of your skin so it is ready to absorb the sunless tan, leaving your skin soft and smooth!
Massage directly onto skin of face or body for 30 - 60 seconds( do not wet skin before use) For gentler exfoliation, use on damp skin and slowly add water to lessen the intensity of the exfoliation. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
2. APPLY SUNLESS TAN
Blend this lightweight, oil-free, foaming sunless tan into skin to achieve a bronze glowing color in as little as two hours!
It's easy to apply and dries quickly on your skin. This dual-action sunless tanner contains vitamins C and E to help extend the duration of the sunless tan.
After your sunless tan is dry, applying a moisturizer will help lock in that bronze glowing color! And you'll feel refreshed all day long with naturally moisturized, calm skin from head to toe.

Which is why I decided to let my customers try out the sunless tanner for my April promotion!
This offer ends April 30th 2017.
P.S. DON'T FORGET THE SUNSCREEN!
Pack a broad spectrum sunscreen! Use SPF 15 to 30 (depending on how prone you are to burning). Two of my favorites are Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture SPF 15 and Rodan + Fields SOOTHE Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30.
